I'm talking with GPs in the US and Europe whose funds have closed. We cover how you met the people who backed you, what happened between the first conversation and the first yes, and how those relationships shape the way you invest today.
What happens if you say yes
- We talk for 45 minutes. I ask your permission before I record, and I use the recording only to write accurately.
- I write the profile.
- You read it before anyone else does and approve every word. Nothing goes out until you say so.
What we leave out
We don't discuss the terms of a fund that is still raising. LPs stay unnamed unless they agree to be named. Anything you'd rather keep off the record stays off.
